Hi, sending this by private message out of high respect for the NBOS people, as I use a program by others to make my FM8 map into "a game". Check out www.roll20.net. They have a very robust free signup for their virtual tabletop - you can load your FM8 map as a background layer, then use the Roll20 features for dice rolling, moving character "tokens" over the map in a moveable layer, have remote players login to control their tokens on the board real-time, player chat via typing sidebar or voice, locating monsters an treasures on your map using the roll20 artwork and tokens, etc. It's a whole another system to learn how to use, but I like it. Good luck.
NBOS offers Skwire, which I've never used. Not sure if it's free or paid application. I was already into Roll20 by the time I found NBOS a few months ago.
