Jörðgarð Map of the Week #357 - Snowdrift Fortress North Ruin

Map of the Week No. 357 is from the forthcoming Jörðgarð Trails adventure "A Tale of 2 Books." This week we remain in the Snowdrift Fortress ruin where the powerful red draug (undead) wizardess Kolbjörg once dwelled and still may do so. There are building ruins 8in the fortress. This week's focus is opon the northernmost building ruin, basically an empty skeleton of a building with a wooden floor that has three strange chimneys protruding from below. White, grey and green smoke or fumes pour from these chimneys. Between the chimneys at about the mid-point of the floor is a large kettle, about 5 feet/150 cm in diameter and 2 feet/60 cm high. It is filled with what appears to be large black balls, about the size of a golf ball. Atop the black balls is a glass jug with two cork stoppers that is filled with a bright red liquid.

Key to the Floor Plan

  1. Doorway that no longer has a door.

2.-4. The Three Chimneys.
