Are Files Backed Up?

Hi NBOS: I am finishing up my current campaign but I want to backup my database before I start preparing for my new one. I used the Export-Entire Database option. Now my question...

1) Does this backup all of the files attachments too? The Help does not say what is actually backed up.

    Yes, the files are also backed up .... unless.... you have "Use external file references" checked in your program preferences.

    If you have a lot of files, you can tell by the size of the export file created that they are embedded. You can also re-import the export file to test it.
