Converting R.A. and Declension to X,Y,Z
Hello--I'd like to add newly discovered stars to the Local Stars template. Does someone have a program to easily convert R.A. and Declension to the X,Y,Z coordinates used by Astrosynthesis?
I could probably figure it out by trial and error, but it'd be much easier if somebody gave me something readymade.

http://evildrganymede.net/rpgs/stellar-mapping/ should have everything you need (in Section 1 of that page).
Make sure you understand that you need to do a little conversion from galactic to astrosynthesis coordinates (there's a note there about it).
