More conversions of gename-style name lists. I wanted names that had some particular types of sounds but not real names. So I took lists of real names from particular languages (mostly from Behind The Name) and then chopped them into three parts (sometimes only one or two parts).
As you might expect, some of them are terrible (although the way I split them, they should always be pronounceable) and sometimes random generation produces real names, but overall I think it works pretty well to produce the types of sounds I wanted.
This set includes separate files for English (specifically British), Scottish, Dutch, and a mishmash combination of Eastern European (combining Croatian, Czech, Macedonian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovene, Ukrainian). Each one has a separate file for male names, female names, and surnames.
Comments
I also added one based on German names. I improved my tools for making these so it is mostly automated now (except combining first and last names). Would be easy to add others if anyone is looking for a particular sound.
