Jörðgarð Map of the Week #297 - The Old Bridge
The 297th Map of the Week is from the forthcoming Jörðgarð Trails adventure "In the Salt Mine." It shows the Old Bridge, one of the last surviving bridges across the River Storming. The river itself is the border between the western domain of the druidic Northern Circle and the eastern lands of Darkness ruled by the dark draugs (undead). In their search for the lost Æsir salt mine, the PCs will need to cross the bridge and travel through the Dark Lands.
The map shows an old tower on the Northern Circle's side of the river along with a stone ring for campfires. The stone bridge some 18 feet/540 cm wide and about 85 feet/25 meters long, spanning the river, which is a bit more than 60 feet/18 meters wide at this point. The bridge still appears to be structurally sound.
