For my Home brew rpg, the base skill rank is based on three attributes. The calculation works great and generates the desired value, however, the value can't be edited in the viewer. This poses a slight problem as the player can't purchase the value up and will be limited to the highest value of the attributes if there's not a way to change this, any suggestions?

You'd need to add an additional field for the points spent on that skill, and then factor it into the calculation. What you might do is add a worksheet page where that can be done, so that it doesn't clutter the printable character sheet.
