Jörðgarð Map of he Week #404 - Black Fortress Dungeon Level 5

Map of the Week No. 404 is from the forthcoming Jörðgarð Trails adventure "A Tale of 2 Books." This week we see the the dungeon's fifth level. This chamber is to be the wizard's chamber that the PCs have been seeking, but if they discover that Level 4 was a tricky decoy and find the way to Level 5, they may at first think they've somehow gone in a circle and are back at the beginning of Level 4 again. The reason? Level 5 is almost a duplicate of Level 4, except that their nemesis, the red draug (undead) Teitur is there, along with the Black Book of Martröð, which they are seeking.

Key to the Map:

1. Spiral Stairway from Level 4.

2. Corridor. It ends after 4 spaces at a double bronze door identical to all of the dungeon's other bronze doors.

3. Grímúlfur's Chamber.

4. Pool of Water.

5. Spiral Stairway to Level 6.
