Wall Line Breaks when Added to Polygon

Hi all, sorry if this has been answered before but my search key words don't really narrow down very well.

I created a floorplan for a dungeon and then instead of using the hallway tool I just used more rectangle polygons, then added them all together at the end.

When I did this, I now have breaks in the black line that represents the wall where they should not be. I thought it might be open ends on the polygons, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I tried on a new map with the hallway tool and the same thing happens.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?
