FM9 - Tutorial & Templates
So I figured I would work through the tutorial in FM9 as I assumed it would include most of the new features. However, as soon as I started the tutorial, I noticed that the File:Open Template menu command did nothing. After checking around, I noticed that my upgrade installation of FM9 didn't create a template folder. I'm assuming that is why the menu does nothing as there is nothing to show. Should I have installed the upgrade 'over' FM8 or is something else wrong?

It looks like you've found a bug. I suspect it will be corrected soon. However, if you didn't remove your FM8 installation, you can simply copy the contents of the FM8 templates folder into the empty FM9 templates folder. Then restart FM9, and you'll have access to the templates. This is a quick workaround until a patch becomes available.
