Background Image Option?

Hey everyone, first post on the forum!

I was wondering if there might be a way to put a background image into the software somehow, so that, when looking at my sector, it doesn't appear that space ends at the edge of the sphere or square?

(Sorry if this has been covered before, it wouldn't let me search for 'background image')

its a neat idea, but no, AS doesnt do that. You might consider just generating 10,000 stars, and just hiding the names when you filter things out.
