Mixed Forest Floor Fill Pattern
Last week, we needed a good fill pattern for a mixed deciduous-coniferous forest floor. We've already snagged a lot of beautiful ground fill patterns, but we couldn't find what we were seeking anywhere. So ... on the weekend, I grabbed the digital camera, went into the forest a few hundred feet from my house and snapped exactly what we wanted, a mix of dried beach leaves and pine needles. I then manipulated the result a bit and ran it through ImageSynth (R) to make it tile. Here it is in case anyone else can use it. As always, it's available for commercial and private use under the Open Game License v1.0a.
