Medieval Copper Sinks

edited April 2011 in Maps and Symbols

We were putting together the kitchen of an inn and realized that we could find noappropriate medieval style sinks for washing the dishes ... so we put these together based upon prototypes from the late 1500s that we found in the Franconian Open Air Museum of Northern Bavarian Fladungen. These sinks were used together with wooden pails. Water was brought to the sinks from the well, and wooden pails were placed beneath the drains to catch the waste water. The symbols are released for personal and commercial use under the Open Game License 1.0a.
