button setting 1 field to equal another

I'm trying to make a series of temporary stat scores that will transfer to another field, set stat scores when you click a button. Failing. Could I get an example please?

ie Field: tempSTR transfers score to the field: permSTR when I click a button to set it.

Thanks much. I'm having a blast learning this wonderful tool.

    Okay. Trial and error wins out! I figured it out.
    In case someone else has this issue here's the cure. Farly simple, sadly....I was busting my brain trying to do a function in javascript, when it wasn't required.
    str.Text=Strength.Text
    in the source window.
