I get this error when I run ScreenMonkey:

Error 10048 in function Bind. Address already in use.
And this when I try to close it:
Access Violation at address 004EFAB8 in module 'screenmonkey.exe'. Read of address 00000004.
I am using the trial version. Not using any firewall other that what is on the computer, I don't think.
Any thoughts

- when another program is already listening on the port SM wants to listen on (for example, a p2p or media server program). If thats the case, try setting SM to a different port.
- when a PC is or has previously been infected with malware and the networking system has been hosed.
If you have security very tight on your PC, it may be possible that its failing to listen on a port because such functionality is blocked and Windows is set to not show a UAC prompt.
It won't let me close it but put up that above. I have to kill the process. Is that a bind issue also?
