Horse descriptions
I took Joe Mays' great horse description generator http://www.rpginspiration.com/tables/Ho ... ptions.ipt and added personality, height, and weight.
Examples:
This small horse is a brilliant white mare. She is 18 hands (6'0") at the shoulder and 800 lbs. She wants to be the leader and will try to guide and direct other horses, but may respond poorly if not involved when other horses are being moved around or handled.
This horse is a very dark brown mare with lighter brown highlights on the muzzle, the flanks and inside the legs and black mane and tail. She is 24 hands (8'0") at the shoulder and 1070 lbs. She is a bit treacherous and does not respect handlers or riders. She may bite and kick unexpectedly.
This small pony is a near black brown mare with lighter brown highlights on the muzzle, the flanks and inside the legs and black mane and tail. She is 12 hands (4'0") at the shoulder and 612 lbs. She is a care-taker, and is especially attentive to people or horses who are injured, sad, or out of sorts. She may overcome fear in order to protect a person, and is very loyal, but can become clingy when no one needs attention.
